SEEN - Designing for the Low Vision

print design, photography, content development

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Seen is a guideline booklet that is aimed at educating graphic designers on the best practices for designing for people with low vision. It contains information about different techniques designers can use to help make their designs more inclusive and accessible to a visually impaired audience.

As well as containing information on how to design imagery, typography and layout for this audience, Seen also provides examples and brief overviews on the different eye conditions that some people experience. This allows the designer to explore a more detailed view on why considering this audience when designing is so important.

To see an example of how the guidelines from Seen have been implemented, please see the project titled La Bohéme. You can find this project here.
